Beth Gilfeather - Chief Executive Officer, Stride & Associates
Beth Gilfeather joined Stride in September 1991. She was named President of the company in September of 2003, adding the title of CEO in 2006. During her tenure, Beth has led the company through the difficult post-recession years, all the while maintaining Stride's unique record of success. Previously, Beth served as Vice President of Operations from 1998 until September of 2003. She has also held numerous positions within the company including Practice Manager from December 1992 to April 1993, Office Manager at various offices from May 1994 to November 1995 and District Manager of the New York region from December 1995 to December 1997. A graduate of Lehigh University, she lives near Boston with her husband and 2 daughters.
Tony Groves - Chief Financial Officer
Tony Groves has over 25 years of experience as a finance professional in both Europe and North America and mostly in IT related companies. He joined Stride in June 1997 and has served as Chief Financial Officer and Senior Vice President of Finance and Administration since then. Before 1997, Tony held a number of senior executive financial positions over an eight year span with Cognos Inc., a publicly traded multi-national software company, where he was VP of Finance for North America Operations before he left to join Stride. Prior to Cognos, he was CFO of WilData a joint venture software company based out of London and Oslo. He qualified as an ACA in London in 1984.
Brian Murphy - Chief Operating Officer
Brian Murphy joined Stride at its inception in 1989, and currently serves the company as Chief Operating Officer. Brian has served in numerous positions within the company including Vice President of Business Development from January 2000 to December of 2003, Director of Business Development from June 1998 to December 1999, District Manager in Boston from July 1996 to May 1998 and New York Office Manager from October 1994 to June 1996. A graduate of the University of Vermont, Brian lives in Sherborn, MA, with his wife and 3 sons. He is active in coaching and administration of youth sports, including serving as a Commissioner of Dover/Sherborn Youth Baseball & Softball.
Matt Milano - President, Technology Recruiting
Matt began his Stride career in 1996 as the first trainee in the Atlantis Boston start-up office. Since then, his skill as a recruiter and builder of strong relationships has allowed him to move steadily through our ranks. 1997, Matt moved to California to help start Stride's Atlantis Newport Beach office. One year later, he was tabbed to take the lead in starting a completely new operation in Los Angeles. In September 2001, Matt moved to New York City as a Division Manager. There, he was an integral player in continuing the success of Stride's largest operation during the post-dotcom recession. Matt moved to Boston in February of 2005 as Regional Director and was successful in bringing Boston from the lowest performing region in Stride to a top performing region in 12 months. Matt is a graduate of Saint Michael's College in Vermont and lives in Hingham, MA with his wife and 2 children.
Paul Harty - Chief Executive Officer, Seven Step Recruiting (RPO)
Paul Harty became CEO of Seven Step Recruiting in 2008. Paul provides critical strategic planning and spearheads solutions delivery for the company. Prior to joining Seven Step, Paul built and ran successful recruiting businesses for over 15 years and has held senior positions to include Regional Director and Vice President. Paul lives in the Boston area with his wife and 4 children and is an active advocate for raising awareness of children's health issues, most notably serving as President of Mitoaction.org.
Greg Karr - President, Seven Step Recruiting (RPO)
Greg Karr became President of Seven Step Recruiting in 2008. Greg directs the company's client acquisition and business development strategies. Prior to joining Seven Step, Greg spent 12 years in recruiting establishing a proven track record in building and growing highly successful recruitment teams. Greg has occupied a number of senior roles to include Division Manager, Regional Director and Vice President of Sales and Operations. He is a graduate of Gordon College, and lives in the Boston area with his wife and two children.
